Flag Making for the Common Good
Maybank Public House 6pm-8pm

We welcome our friends, family, and YOU to join us as volunteers for a night of fun and flag making as we reintroduce our organization, commitment to the communities we serve, and plans for the future of CULTIVATE.
Flag making?
As a volunteer flag maker, you'll be helping us make the first batch of flags to be used for #WOWchs.
#WOWchs is a long-range, citywide, public art project combining Science, Art, and Civic Action.

Meant to honor and celebrate the Buddhist prayer flag tradition of sending good wishes out on the wind, WOW will focus on our communities’ individual, collective, and global visions of hope in a striking visual representation that inspires connection and local civic engagement.
The flags will be everywhere for everyone, and the wind will help spread goodwill and compassion throughout.
Let's come together and create beautiful prayer flags. Our vision is to fill the yards, parks and streets of Charleston with shared wishes for fun, art, science, and community.
